I tested this cleanser and decided to offer my review.
I like the gentle foaming properties of the cleanser. When your skin tends to be slightly oily, it gives the feeling of a deeper cleansing. I loved that my skin did not feel taught or dry after washing. The soap free pH 5.5 in this cleanser worked perfectly. I had no dry spots and my skin always felt comfortable.
I used this strictly as a cleanser, not as a makeup remover. I tried it a couple of times with a tinted moisturizer and it worked just fine. The purpose of gel cleansers is to remove impurities and excess sebum (oil) in the skin and to leave your skin feeling clean and refreshed. LA ROCHE-POSAY EFFACLAR accomplished this beautifully.
